Betsson Wins Prestigious Award Competing Against The Biggest Names In The Industry
(LONDON) Betsson was awarded “Online Sportsbook Operator of the Year” at the International Gaming Awards which took place in London on Monday the 23rd Jan.
The event featured the biggest names in the industry and 24 nominees for the Online Sportsbook Operator of the Year, including Bet365, Nordicbet, Betfair, Svenska Spel and Unibet eagerly awaited the judges’ decision.
After having narrowed down the 24 nominees to a handful of finalists, the judges announced Betsson as the winner, having shown to lead the field, not only in capacity of customers, but in originality of betting, excellence in customer service as well as marketing of the product, usability and growth.
Head of Betsson Sportsbook, Steve Ellis, was delighted with the win: “The competition was tough and it was great to come out on top. In my opinion the reason for this victory is the new live betting user interface, and increasing the live bet offer by roughly 200%.”
